About DeDe Cordell, Voice Actor

Hard working, reliable and passionate about my work

I have really lived and I bring that experience to the booth with me to bring my VO projects to life. I've been a news anchor and reporter for both radio and television. I've done public affairs for government agencies. I've lived all over California, in D.C., Germany, and I even lived in Iraq for six months in 2008-09, while supporting the Army Corps of Engineers' communication needs during the war. I've travelled the world, all over North America, Europe and most recently, Singapore. Of course, my most amazing, challenging and rewarding role has been that of mom

I am married to a retired US Army Command Sergeant Major and we have a son who is the light of our lives. We spend as many weekends camping (okay, glamping) as we possibly can. When we aren't in the RV, it's probably too cold, in which case, we are likely on a ski mountain. I am also a very proud Rotarian (service above self!) and past president of my club.

I have a vocal booth from VoiceSuite.net and full studio set up in my home with a Sennheiser MK4 mic, MikeHero interface and Adobe Audition on my iMac. I also have a SourceConnect account (DeDeVoices) for directed sessions.

I work hard and am committed to providing a quality product with a speedy turnaround.
